The History of the Library at Minot State

The Gordon B. Olson library is the latest installment in a long line of necessary expansions for Minot State's library. It is dedicated to the former President of Minot State University, Dr. Gordon B. Olson, who presided over the school for more than 20 years. This exhibit expands on the library's rich history, from humble beginnings in downtown Minot's Armory, through rooms in the Main Building, to buildings specifically constructed to house the school's expanding collection, while adding seating space for students and faculty.
