Re-emergence of Greek Life

New Mu Sigma Tau Frat House, 2012

After more than a 20-year absence, Greek life has made a resurgence on Minot State University's campus with the recent revival of the Mu Sigma Tau fraternity.

The organization's revitalization came about as a direct result of a fraternity reunion during Homecoming 2009. A local group of alumni have offered to continue assisting new members of the fraternity and connecting it with the fraternity's roots at MSU.

These local alumni purchased a house across the street from the MSU campus at 815 6th Street NW.  They remodeled the house, with the assistance of the current Mu Sigma Tau membership. New members moved into the house in the fall of 2010.  The home suffered extensive damage in the flood of 2011, has been but restored and is once more occupied by Mu Sigma Tau.
